Shakespeare Festival 2026

A Shakespeare Night at Victoria Baths in Manchester with live music, including extracts from Hamlet, Richard III, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Romeo and Juliet, Twelfth Night, The Taming of the Shrew, King John and Measure for Measure. A sold-out show.

Undertaken in around four weeks, this festival was a Shakespeare showcase at the prestigious Victoria baths, a grade II* listed heritage site and widely considered Britain's finest historic swimming pool. Consisting of nine extracts from eight Shakespeare plays, original fencing choreography, over forty collaborators and a specially composed score performed by a live band, the production was a sold-out success. Captivating 250+ audience for over 2 hours, it also gave me the opportunity to deep dive into eight of Shakespeare's masterpieces.
